You can translate several resources at a time with the Apps Translation Tool. This tool lets you view all your app controls, manage their content in all your available languages, and download a localization file that you can edit offline and upload to update your app content.
You can access the Apps Translation Tool from the App Designer home page. To do so, open the folder that contains your app and then select the Manage translations option from the app's three-dot menu.
This opens the Apps Translation Tool, where all your app controls are listed along with their values in the languages you selected when configuring your multilingual app.
When you click the Download button, you download an Excel file with all the listed controls and languages.
Be mindful of keeping the name of the Excel file when you download it, as the App Designer resources use this name to map your translations. |
Edit the file to add your translations.
After adding your translations, upload the file by dropping it into the upload area or clicking the Select files button to select it in the File Explorer. Once uploaded, the values for each control are replaced with those of the file.
You can also edit the values directly from your browser.
The tool also lets you filter the controls by pages and search for a specific control.
You can also access the tool from the App Designer editor. To do so, right-click a control and then select the Manage translations option.
You can have a different image for each one of the languages available for your app. When you are using a link to an external resource, you can edit the link for the image to match the desired language. If you do not have an external content management resource, you can change your images directly from the App Designer editor.
