Overview
This section illustrates how to configure a Widget inside of a form, after having downloaded it and installed it as described at Widget Xchange (or alternatively through manual procedure as described at Widgets Management).
Configuring a Widget
To use an installed Widget, first locate it in its specific control's category.
1. Drag and drop the Widget onto your form:
2. Click the Widget to view its properties (the same as you would do with any other control in your form).

For chart-type Widgets, make sure you click an area which does not have the chart graph itself (click the gray, rightmost part of the widget). |
Configuring its properties is done to both preview and set the Widget's settings in execution.
Notice there are some properties (mainly captions) which can be localized for the different languages supported in your Bizagi Work Portal.

Each Widget has different properties and restrictions. Therefore, its configuration, preview and use will also differ. The preview of a Widget in the Forms Designer is shown with sample data (no business information is loaded until execution). Further information about each specific Widget may be looked for at the Widget Xchange and the given Widget's detailed view. |
Make sure you set the required properties (marked with an asterisk).
Properties such as Visible or Editable will be most likely common for all Widgets, so that you can dynamically define (through a business rule) when is each Widget shown or when it will be able to update information into the Process' data model.
3. Save your Form and proceed to test your Forms and Widgets in your Work Portal.
