User preferences form

Overview

Bizagi provides a set of information, called User Properties, that is relevant to each user individually. These include full name, email address, domain, roles, positions, delegated user, among others. These can be seen in the Organization Module in Bizagi Studio.

You can create additional properties for your users such as date of birth, social security number, marital status, or any other property required for your Processes that have not been provided by default by Bizagi. Click for more information about User properties.

End users can manage some of this information in their profile through the Work Portal, accessing the Preferences menu.

UserPreferences1

All the information contained in the Preferences menu can be changed by the user anytime.

UserPreferences3

You can define what user information User properties to display on this menu, by:

Defining what User properties are manageable by end users in Bizagi Studio, and letting Bizagi auto-generate a form including these fields.

Customizing a form where you can define the user properties that can be changed by each end user, as well as the alignment and containers of the form (tabs, groups, etc).

The preferences form, on the Work Portal, always shows an additional tab called Display options. These options allow you to change form interface settings such as:

Opening full screen windows.

Collapsing sidebars.

Returning to inbox when tasks are finished.

These settings are stored locally for that specific browser using cookies, if they are deleted or another machine is used, this settings need to be configured again.
