Security control

Overview

Security controls were enhanced to ease the case administration in the Administration User Interface. The enhancement consists in dividing available permissions in three tabs: Case Administration, Cancel Cases and Case Security. Inside the Case Administration tab, permissions can also be classified in Cancel, Reassign and Release.

Use Case Scenarios

Depending on Bizagi Studio’s configuration, different permissions that support security controls can be assigned to a user, and these will be shown in the Case Administration page. Some of this permissions are the following:

 

BulkCancelCases: This lets the user access the cancel cases tab.

CaseSecurity: Lets the user access the Case Security tab.

If the user has active permissions, the Manage Cases tab will pop up.

ManageCancelCases: Lets the user see the Cancel button.

ManageReassignActivities: Lets the user see the Register button.

Bear in mind that when deleting an user it can happen that permissions will remain active for a short period of time after the deletion due to the cache configuration.
