When a user opens the Bizagi Modeler desktop application, it is requested to sign in to verify their subscription. This is a requisite before starting working on the application. However, some errors might occur when the sign in window appears. These errors are related with:
•The user's Proxy configuration.
•The user's firewall configuration.
•A Bizagi's internal problem.
•The user's Internet connection.
The following article shows the common errors that might occur, as well as their respective solutions.
Proxy configuration troubleshooting
When a user opens Bizagi Modeler and there are issues with the proxy configuration (only applies to Enterprise subscriptions), the following message appears.
The error occurs because the proxy blocks Bizagi Modeler, thus, it cannot connect to the cloud. To solve this issue, click Configure Proxy and complete its configuration. To see how to configure the proxy, click here.
Once the proxy is correctly configured, you can go to the sign in window and click Refresh to sign into Bizagi.
Firewall configuration troubleshooting
When a user opens Bizagi Modeler and there are issues with the firewall configuration, the following message appears.
The error occurs because the firewall blocks Bizagi Modeler, thus, it cannot connect to the cloud. To solve this issue, configure the firewall according to Bizagi Modeler Cloud Services requirements.
Once the firewall is correctly configured, you can go to the sign in window and click Refresh to sign into Bizagi.
Bizagi internal error troubleshooting
When a user opens Bizagi Modeler and there are issues with the Bizagi servers, the following message appears.
To solve this issue, go to the sign in window and click Refresh and try to sign into Bizagi again.
Users Internet connection troubleshooting
When a user opens Bizagi Modeler and has no Internet connection, the following message appears.
To solve this issue, make sure you are connected to an Internet network and click Refresh and try to sign into Bizagi again.
In either of the cases mentioned above, if you cannot solve the problem or do not want to sign in, you can click the Continue without signing in option. This allow you to work in local models without signing in. However, take into account that if you want to use any feature that requires access to the cloud you must sign in.
