Change columns format

You can change the format of table's columns in order to provide order to the information and clarity to end users.

The column's format can be modified from the Format tab of column's properties.

ColumnsFormatl

From here you can define:

Title/Column horizontal align

Allows aligning text or title in columns. Possible options are: right, left, justified and centered.

To change the text alignment in a column or in its title just select the desired option.

This is how the different alignments look at the Work Portal

Column width

By default, columns width is automatically determined by Bizagi; the total table's width is equally distributed among its columns.

This property allows you defining the desired column width according to your needs. It can be established in terms of percentage of the total table's width or in terms of fixed pixels.

To define the columns width in terms of percentage of the total table's width, enter the desired value and select the unit. In the table below, the Product column has a 40% width.

ColumnsFormat2

The other three columns have not a specified width. Bizagi automatically distributes the remaining 60% of the table among them. Therefore, each column will have a 20% width.

ColumnsFormat4

To define the columns width in terms of fixed pixels just enter the number of desired pixels followed by "px". In the table below, the Product column has a 200px width.

ColumnsFormat5

The other three columns have not a specified width. Bizagi automatically distributes the remaining pixels of the table among them.

We strongly recommend to use percentage instead fixed pixels to define the columns width. Only for advance cases where it is strictly necessary fixed pixels should be used. Take into account that it will always depend on the screen resolution and that the changes will be seen in either desktop or tablets.
