Lookup services

Overview

For certain scenarios, typically where you need invoke a service via an HTTP POST, you may need to look up certain data structures or input parameters needed for the HTTP POST.

The most common scenarios that can require a look-up beforehand, are when you want to start a new process, complete a pending activity or event (workitem), or trigger an action, and need to send as input a value from a parameter entity, a file attachment, or a collection, or fill out a start form.
