Tracing - New is a feature in the Management Console (MC) that aims to visualize the recorded traces. The Tracing - New feature reconstructs the previous implementation in order to improve performance, quality, and simplify the logic. If you have updated to the latest version of Bizagi and have traces from previous versions, please refer to the Tracing article for more information.
To access the Traces - New feature, follow these steps:
In the side menu of the MC, under Monitoring, click the Tracing - New option.
You can apply search filters to find a specific file or group of files. The available filters are as follows:
•Category: select a category to find the trace file. The following categories are available:
oAPI: logs generated when an external interface or SAP BAPI is invoked.
oConnectors: logs generated when a Connector action is invoked.
oEcm: logs generated when Bizagi invokes the ECM service.
oExecution: logs generated during the execution of Bizagi. This includes Authentication, Scheduler, and Work Portal.
oRpa: logs generated when a robot is executed.
oRules: logs generated the execution and evaluation of Business Rules and Policies.
oUncategorized: lets you find a file, regardless of its category. This is the default value.
•File Name: Provide the file name or its initial characters to locate a specific trace file.
•Creation Date Range: Refers to the file's creation date. To use this filter, click the selection box Select the creation date range.
•Modification Date Range: Refers to the file's modification date. To use this filter, click the selection box Select the modification date range.

The traces that you can configure through the Management Console are the same that can be configured in Bizagi Studio. For more information about these traces, refer to Tracing configuration. |
Defining the trace detail
To decide what alerts to trace, and their detail level, navigate to the Tracing option you want and select the icon of its current detail level. Then, define the new detail level (None, Information, Warning, Error).
By default, None is selected and a minus sign appears for each trace object/component.
When Information is selected, the trace file logs warnings, errors and step-by-step information about the executed commands. This option traces all the log levels.
When Warning is selected, the trace file logs both warnings and errors.
When Error is selected, the trace file only logs errors.
You can select each trace type (and its subtypes) and select a trace detail configuration for each. If you select a parent level, all its children will have the same level, but you can change the level of any sublevel to set it independently.
If you want to set a trace detail for all types, you can use the Edit all traces option.
