Bizagi Studio workstation Installation

Overview

When using Bizagi Studio, you can be part of a teamwork development using Studio Collaboration Services, or an on-premises teamwork setup. But also you can create projects locally in your machine for prototyping or sand-boxing purposes. Depending on your need you can find the best way to install Bizagi Studio.

Developing using Studio Collaboration Services

To access an SCS subscription you have two options:

Using the Portable Edition: the portable edition lets you connect to an SCS subscription. This edition does not need any administration permission, and you can carry it on in any folder or pen drive. See Portable edition.

Using the Bizagi Studio quick installation: this installer needs administration permissions but lets you also create and run projects locally. See Bizagi Studio quick start installation.

Developing using an on-premises teamwork setup

To install a developer workstation you have the following installing options:

Using the Portable Edition: the portable edition lets you connect to an SCS subscription. This edition does not need any administration permission and you can carry it on in any folder or pen drive. See Portable edition.

Using the Bizagi Studio quick installation: this installer needs administration permissions, but lets you also create and run projects locally. See Bizagi Studio quick start installation.

Silent installation: an infrastructure administrator can install in several machines Bizagi Studio using the silent installation.

Developing local projects in your own machine - standalone

When you need to create and develop projects locally in your machine, you need to install Bizagi Studio using the Bizagi Studio Server Installation. This creates all the components to develop and run a Bizagi project. See Bizagi Studio Server Installation.
