Considerations about integrations

Overview

Automation Service is a cloud-based service exposed to the public internet. Bizagi have several capabilities for integration with external systems, however, systems need to be cloud-ready so they can communicate with each other over public internet connections (that can be accessed anywhere within the internet). Because organizations can have internal and on-premises systems, not all the Bizagi features related to integration can be used by default. In such scenarios, customers need to purchase a VPN. This section explains the integration features that have considerations in the Bizagi cloud offering.

Cloud-ready

Cloud-ready systems are those which can be accessed through the public internet. Due to security restrictions, internal systems on-premises, usually cannot see or access the public internet.

In such scenarios where customers need to integrate their on-premises systems with Bizagi Automation service, they need to purchase a VPN service. This VPN is a private channel that redirects communications from on-premises to the Bizagi cloud.

Because on-premise systems cannot see by default cloud-ready systems, such as Bizagi Automation Service, some integration features must be analyzed to determine if they need a VPN to work.
