Customers may scale up or down the Performance Level of an environment at any time to match demand.
Scaling up or down is done by the customer (self-service) by using the appropriate options available in the Management Portal.
This procedure will assign a new set of resources supporting the newly specified Performance Level (number of BPUs) within a short period and without a service disruption.
Changing the Performance Level
Changing the performance level allows to switch the acquired Performance Level in order to match demand. This option is available for every for Enterprise subscriptions.
To request a change in the Performance Level, locate the Change category option within the three-dotted menu of the environment.
Choose the new Performance Level and click the Change category button. This button will send the request to our team in order to perform the update in the Performance Level.
•When scaling up or down your environments (changing the performance levels), Bizagi provisions and creates different sets of resources and services, and then switches connections over to the new sets.
•No data is lost during this procedure and the whole procedure may take up to 15 minutes depending on the database size and therefore, It is strongly recommended to plan and schedule accordingly.
•Downgrade is subject to database and files size, if the current size of your database or files exceed the Max file storage and/or Max DB storage of the selected category, the downgrade will be rejected.
•When scaling up, Bizagi will invoice the yearly prorated fee, meaning Bizagi will only charge for the remaining number of days until the end of the subscription year. Bizagi does not re-found when scaling down. The next billing period will be adjusted to the selected Performance Level.
