The Bizagi Run (Engine) portal is the site where admin users manage all projects and environments created in Bizagi Cloud.
To access Run Portal, go through the Management Portal in the Run option.
A project created in Bizagi Cloud corresponds directly to a project developed in Bizagi Studio. A single project can contain two or more environments.
All environments of a project must have imported packages from the same Bizagi Studio project.
The projects and environment features available are:
•Creating and deleting projects
•Creating and deleting environments
•Importing (deploying) packages to Testing environments, to conduct user-acceptance tests, and to Production environment, for end users to execute and use the final applications. When importing (deploying), take into account all steps mentioned in the Importing a process article. Some additional steps are required when bringing an application live in Bizagi Cloud (whether Test or Production environment). Learn more in From Studio to Cloud.
Projects and environments creation require a commercial agreement to be in place, you may require assistance from a sales representative. Make a request contacting us.
Creating new projects
To create a project, go to your subscription and select the green cross icon.
Give the new project a name and a meaningful description.
Please avoid creating projects with the same name on the same subscription.
The project will be created without environments.
The subscription owner can delete projects at any time. Bear in mind that this action is not reversible and this will delete every environment contained in the project.
Once you select this option, Bizagi will display a pop-up window requesting if you are sure you want to delete the project.
Type the name of the project and mark the checkbox Yes, I'm sure to delete the project. Finally, click Delete button.
Every project has information displaying the number of active, created and with-error environments. These are displayed under the project name:
•Total environments: Display the total number of created environments.
•Active: Display the number of environments with an uploaded package.
•Created: Display the number of environments without an uploaded package.
•Error: Displays the number of environments with error(s) when running the uploaded application.
When an environment present errors, please contact our support team.
Creating new environments
Creating a new environment allows you to upload a package and run that application. New environments are created in the last available Bizagi Version.
To create a new environment, select the Create environment option in the three-dotted menu from the project.
Select the environment category for the environment. Please contact us in case you want to create an environment with category different to Trial.
Give a meaningful name to the new environment
When finish, click Continue.
Bizagi will display the environment characteristics. Click Create in order to start the creation of the project.
During the environment creation, do not close your browser or log out until the process finishes in order to avoid errors.
The new environment will be added with the Created state, which means it is ready to upload and to install package.
Importing a package
Importing a package is considered to a deployment to a Bizagi Cloud environment. This action requires some steps that must be carefully followed. An article detailing each step and consideration can be found here.
Running an application
When the run button is clicked, the Work Portal of the environment will be opened in a new window. The Work Portal allows end users or testers to work with the uploaded application.
The Work Portal's URL will vary depending on the environment:
Testing environment's URL: companyname.bizagi.com/Projectname-test
Production environment's URL: companyname.bizagi.com/Projectname
Make sure you have previously imported a package before running the Work Portal. If you have not, the server will display an empty Work Portal.
Monitoring an environment
To monitor an environment's resources utilization along with consumed BPUs, each environments has an Activity Monitor icon.

You can access your environment's Management Console from the cloud engine portal. For more information about Bizagi Cloud's Management Console please refer to Management console.
Deleting an environment
Every environment can be deleted. All data stored in the environment, along with log files and metrics will be deleted as well.
Select the trash can icon of the environment to delete.
Once you select this option, Bizagi will display a pop-up window requesting if you are sure you want to delete the environment.
Type the name of the environment and mark the checkbox Yes, I'm sure to delete the environment. Finally, click Delete button.
Updating and environment
When an environment uses an older Bizagi Engine Version, you can update it to the last available version by clicking Update to [Version] button.
Deploying on environment to another environment
If you want to deploy an application you have in one environment directly into another one, it can be done, as long as an empty environment has been previously created within the same Bizagi Cloud project. Select the Deploy in other environment option in the three-dotted menu of the environment.
A window will display to select the target environment. Click Make deployment to deploy the application.
This option will deploy the application but NO DATA will be taken between environments.
Changing the category of an environment
Changing the performance level allows to switch the acquired Performance Level in order to match demand. This option is available for every for Enterprise subscriptions.
To request a change in the Performance Level, locate the Change category option within the three-dotted menu of the environment. For more information, please refer to Scaling an environment.
Resetting an environment
Bizagi's Run Portal allows to reset your Bizagi server, which is like cleaning up the cache of a browser, to allow changes deployed to be updated in the Work Portal.
