Sites Controls

Overview

When using the Sites editor to build your Site, each item included in a page is referred to as a Site control.

Site elements represent the different types of content you want to display in a Site, such as controls to enter texts, buttons, or sophisticated information presented in headers or image galleries, among others.

 

Site control types

Bizagi Sites offers a comprehensive set of controls for best user experience.

 

Controls are grouped into four categories:

Text: adds fixed or dynamic text (related to Xpath).

Single elements: displays single type controls.

Buttons: links your page to a Bizagi Process or to an external or internal page.

Bundles: creates list-type controls that can be either fixed or dynamic. Dynamic content is connected to Bizagi data as collections, cases and searches.

Headers

Allows adding a title or a subtitle.

Paragraphs

Allows adding a paragraph.

Single elements

Image

Enable the upload and display of images. Images can emulate the behavior of Buttons.

Map

Allows using Google map services in order to display a map with an static address.

Search

Connects bundle controls to create search engines within the Data in the Site.

Buttons

Button

Presents a rectangular button that can start a case, redirect to a URL, or redirect to another page in the Site.

Round Button

Presents a rounded button that starts a case, redirects to a URL, or redirects to another page in the Site.

Link

Presents a link that can start a case, redirect to a URL, or redirect to another page in the Site.

Bundles

Image Gallery

Displays an horizontal list of images.

Image Carousel

Displays an horizontal list of images with a preview.

Card Link

Displays a list of controls compounded by an image, a name and a short description.

List View

Displays a list of controls compounded by an image, a title, a description, and a highlight that can be used to display money values.

 

Options

The following options are common for every control type.

Manage Content

ManageContent01

Enables the main configuration of all controls.

i.e. If the control is a button, sets the value to display in given button. If the control is an image, defines the image to display. If the control is a Bundle enables a wizard.

When the control is inside a Contextualized Page, this button turns green.

ManageContent02

Settings

Header_07

Displays a set of properties to customize each control.

Visible to

Image_04

Allows to select the Stakeholder or context to set visibility rules over a control.

 

Image_05

 

When a control has changed its default visibility it will display a message on the bottom.

Duplicate

Image_07

Clones the control and places it under the original control.

Delete

Image_08

Removes the control from the page. A confirmation is required when this option is clicked.

Resize

Image_10

Increases or decreases the size (width and height) of the control. This option is displayed when the control is hovered on the corners.

 

Default header

All templates feature a default header that cannot be deleted or moved.

Such control is displayed at the top of every page created and may be customized as described at Header.

 

Hero Image

By default, every page created has a Hero Image which is fully customizable.

Such control is displayed under the default header and can be hidden if needed. For more information about customizing this control, refer to Hero Image.
