Verifying Data Replication

Data Replication in Bizagi allows you to integrate external data sources in a seamless way into your Bizagi processes.

When using this technology, Bizagi offers the possibility to manage the connection parameters for a testing or production environment, as described at External systems administration.

Once Data Replication is set in your project, you may choose to verify that its execution synchronizes the values for those Parameter Entities with matching values from your external table's columns.

Using the Systems module

This option is especially useful for all project environments.

The Systems module is available through Bizagi Management Console (for Production or Test environments), with similar options as those available through Bizagi Studio for the development environment.

View more information about the Management Console.

1. To review a scheduled Replication execution, go to the Systems module (or refresh this view).

This will display the system set for your Replication.

Expand the node elements under it, and browse your configuration until the Replication Schema is presented (under: that particular system, the Providers node, the specific provider, the Replicated Entities node, and finally the Default Replication Class).

2. Right-click the Schema and click on its Replication Schema Properties:

In this window select the Replication Logs tab to display the date and time of replication executions.

Should there be any error, instead of the Success status, you will be able to see the Error status, with its corresponding cause (message).

When the Replication Schema has been successful executed, you may look for the replicated entities values under the Parameter Entities in Bizagi.

This option is used from Bizagi Work portal, in the Entities administration.

3. In addition to this log, and enabling the job repetition to run again, you may use the Replicate Now option for your replicated entities to start their synchronization immediately:
