Bizagi Diagnostics is a toolkit featured by Bizagi Ltd in order to provide monitoring options for Bizagi Engine operations in a test or production environment.
By relying on Bizagi Diagnostics, a system administrator may run health checks on Bizagi Engine components and overall, while identifying issues that are affecting the adequate operations of the Bizagi project (e.g, performance issues, service downtime), in order to analyze and resolve them promptly.
Bizagi Diagnostics will not represent a significant overhead in runtime. Along this aspect, other major features are:
•Allows you to work with logs all stored in one place.
•Provides business-oriented analysis and other options which use contextualized information.
•Relies on modern technologies while providing data analysis flexibility.
The image above illustrates the underlying concept of how Bizagi Diagnostics works and how you could set it up.
Notice that it is recommended that Bizagi Diagnostics runs on a separate server (not where Bizagi Engine operates).
Before you start
Bizagi Diagnostics will display information based on server events as reported by each of the Bizagi Engine components (i.e, Work portal, Scheduler service) in the underlying project.
This means that you will need to ensure that Bizagi Engine components are constantly reporting such events into logs.
Further information on how to configure this reporting is specified in the chapters below.
It is also required that the system administrator knows about the expected SLAs of the Bizagi project, including service thresholds involving external systems integrated by the Bizagi project.
