Process Reports


Live Processes support exporting process data directly form the Work Portal. This feature is intended to query the data from the cases of a given process where the case creation date is between a defined range of dates. Users with access to Manage Live Processes Dashboard can be given permission to generate these reports and export them to Excel.



This feature is only available for Published processes and will take into account the latest published version of the process.


Permissions for Reports

Live Process reports are available for the process's owner and users with the BA Administrator role as default. Nonetheless, it is possible to add manually other users or user groups from the Dashboard.


All you have to do is select the process and click on the Collaborators tab.




Then select Reports and click on Add Reports User.




Start typing the user on the search bar and select the one you wish to add to the list.




Now the selected user can access the Report for the selected process.


If you wish to remove the user, simply click on the trash icon by their name to withdraw them from the list.




Generating a report

To generate a report just click on the Reports icon located on the upper right corner of the dashboard.




A pop-up window will appear where the user can select the process they wish to get the report form.




The filters available for this report are the process and the case creation date. If you wish to filter by dates, select the range of dates by clicking on the dropdown icon.




Finally to obtain the report click on the Generate Report button located on the lower right corner.




Now the report will be visible.




The columns included in the report by default are: Case Number, Case Creator, Case creation date, Case due date, Activity and Current Assignee. The values in Case Id and Activity columns will also serve as links to the case and the current task respectively. Similarly, there are controls that are supported as columns: String, Boolean, Date, Parametric Values, Predefined lists and System entities.



Note that the values related to parametric or system entities will be shown if a display attribute is defined.


This report can be exported  to Excel by clicking on the Export to Excel button on the lower right corner of the window. This button will be visible once the report results are shown. The exported values will be formatted and displayed as shown below:





This report works just like Query forms where Scope data is not included, the data shown is obtained directly from the database.
