When using Bizagi Engine in a JEE platform, your processes can be configured to run in different JEE Application servers, such as WebSphere, WebLogic, or JBoss.
The steps to configure each Application server to work with Bizagi will slightly vary according to the very same differences within each Application server.
This section focuses on WebSphere configuration's to work with Bizagi in a cluster setup, that is, relying on high availability to make use of more than 1 node for load balancing purposes.
If you wish to configure WebSphere as a standalone server (only using 1 instance without load balancing capabilties), refer to Standard WebSphere configuration.
What you need to do
To configure Bizagi's solution in a cluster, you will need to:
1. Meet the requisites to use WebSphere in a cluster.
Guidelines and preconfiguration steps are described at Preconfiguring WebSphere for cluster support, and these include: Creation of profiles, and registration of the cluster and its nodes.
2. Configure WebSphere to work with Bizagi.
The corresponding steps are described at Configuring WebSphere in a cluster to work with Bizagi.
3. Configure the Scheduler service for a cluster setup.
The corresponding steps are described at Configuring the Scheduler in WebSphere.
4. Configure any additional components which are part of the system architecture, such as the load balancer.
For this, follow what described at Setting up the system architecture, in which infrastructure possibilities are presented.
