Database connection string
To properly establish a connection with your database, refer to the description of the contents in the DSNDB key, which stores the complete connection string.
The DSNDB key has the following format as directed by .NET technologies:
Data Source=<DATABASE_SERVER>;Initial Catalog=<DATABASE_NAME>;User ID=<DATABASE_USER>;Password=<USER_PASS>;
Consider replacing parameters enclosed within < >, with the corresponding information of your environment:
•<DATABASE_SERVER>: The database server.
If your processes are stored in a SQL Server instance and you use SQL Server Management Studio, you may easily check out the name of your database server as shown below (ensure you include named instances):
•<DATABASE_NAME>: The name of the database holding your Bizagi processes.
If your processes are stored in a SQL Server instance and you use SQL Server Management Studio, you may easily check out the name of your specific Bizagi database:
•<DATABASE_USER>: The SQL Server user to access to the database.
•<USER_PASS>: The password for that specified user.
The database connection string has a standard use across all Bizagi components and tools.
This means that you may choose to copy/paste the DSNDB key configuration as set in the web.config file of your Bizagi Work portal.
