Bizagi Cloud provides an isolated private Cloud for each customer, that is not shared with other customers.
Each private cloud contains all of the testing and production environments required, on ready-to-use architecture with no technical or time barriers, that can only be accessed by authorized users. Access control is integrated with the identity management system of the client (AD, LDAP).
Each paid customer is assigned a unique URL with their subscription: companyname.bizagi.com
Each environment created for the subscription will have an independent URL as follows:
Testing environment URL: companyname.bizagi.com/Projectname-test
Production environment URL: companyname.bizagi.com/Projectname
Bizagi Cloud charges in a pay-for-what-you-use fashion, based on the Performance Level chosen per environment. Click to learn more about Performance Levels.
There are no limits on the number of end users, nor deployed applications.
The customer can scale up and down the Performance Level of any environment at any time to match demand. They can also request the activation of additional environments (e.g. staging/pre-production). If the customer scales up or adds new environments, Bizagi will then invoice the yearly prorated fee.
Customers can manage their environments and projects using the Management Portal.
An environment is a set of resources provisioned in order to support a given stage of the Customer applications' life cycle.
For Bizagi Cloud, default offered environments are Testing environment and Production environment.
The subscription includes Testing environments used to conduct user-acceptance tests of the applications built in the development environment. The Customer is responsible for developing the applications and deploying them in the Testing environment. This is done using an upload function available in the Management Portal.
Customers can create projects through the Management Portal. For each project customers can request one or more dedicated Testing environments for user-acceptance tests on the built applications.
To request an environment the customer must specify a Performance Level that fits their needs and budget. Performance Levels can be scaled up or down at any time, as described in the Scalability section.
Once an environment is created, customers can deploy previously built applications in Bizagi Studio, and run them for user-acceptance tests.
A subscription to Bizagi Cloud includes a Production environment, which can be used to run applications and make them available for authorized users for production usage. The customers are responsible for developing the applications and deploying them in the Production environment. This is done using an upload function, which is available in the Management Portal.
Customers can request a dedicated Production environment for end-user application usage through the Management Portal.
To do so, customers can select a Performance Level that fits their needs and budget. Performance Levels can be scaled up or down at any time, as described in the scalability section. Performance options for the production environment apply in the same way as with the testing environment.
Once an environment is created, the customer can deploy applications (previous acceptance in the Testing environment is strongly recommended), and make them available for authorized users for production usage.
For the development environment, authors use Bizagi Studio, with all of the functionalities it has available, as described in the product documentation.
The Authoring (development) environment is usually located on-premises. Once applications are built, they can then be deployed by the customer and executed on Bizagi Cloud as described in Testing and Production environments.
In case the customer does not have the necessary infrastructure in place for the Development environment, a subscription to a development environment is available in Bizagi Cloud.
The Development environment provides the necessary infrastructure and tools for the development team and provides separate access accounts and workstations based on the quantity of authors (e.g. 5, 20, 50 authors). All applications are stored by the team in a central repository, allowing them to validate the applications execution.
The authoring or development environment (Bizagi Studio) can be downloaded and located on your local machines. Once applications are built, they can then be deployed and executed on Bizagi Cloud, with the help of an easy to use, web-based management console.
The Customer has access to a private Management Portal. The following base capabilities are provided:
•User and access rights management
•Deploying applications to an environment
•Ability to scale up and down Performance Levels for each environment to match demand.
•Ability to upgrade and downgrade the cloud platform for specific environments.
•Monitoring the solution to watch over resources utilization.
•Adding new environments to a subscription
Performance and scalability
Bizagi offers a series of Performance Levels that meet even the most demanding of workloads. Scaling up and down is done by the client via self-service, through the use of appropriate options available in the Management Portal. If a client requests a change, they will be assigned a new set of resources to support the new Performance Level (number of BPU's) within a short period of time, and this will be done without interrupting the operation of the system.
Bizagi is committed to delivering 99.9% SLA uptime. To do so, Bizagi Cloud maintains three replicas of databases and servers to protect against hardware failures and increase system reliability.
Basic support during business hours is included in the offer, and premium packages are available to support mission critical applications.
Disaster Recovery options available upon request and its cost depends on the RTO/ RTO objectives.
Bizagi Cloud has been designed with security as its top-most aspect in consideration. By parting from the use of the technologies and controls that enable an isolated environment for each customer, Bizagi Cloud delivers a private cloud where customer data is not shared.
This private cloud has further security controls and mechanisms implemented, such as identity and access management, data encryption in transit and at rest, as well as policies and procedures to ensure data privacy, such as the deletion of data upon contract termination, or protected physical access.
Technical support is provided via email, phone, and an online ticket system. Basic support during business hours is always included in the subscription. In addition, customers can select additional levels of support when it is required for mission critical applications.
