Can I change my performance level during the first year?

Yes. You can scale up the performance level of any environment at any time to match demand.

In Bizagi you Pay-for-what-you-use. You can scale up/down the performance level of any environment at any time to match demand. you can also activate additional environments (eg: staging/pre-production). If you scale up, or add new environments, Bizagi will then invoice the yearly prorated fee. That is, Bizagi will only charge for the remaining number of days until the end of the subscription year. Each year at renewal time, we will charge for an additional year the subscription fees applicable to the then active environments and using the then current performance levels of each environment. When scaling down there will be no money back. The next billing period will be adjusted to the selected Performance level.

 

Is there a Development environment available?

No. We have removed Development environment from our offering because our clients prefer to develop On-Premise or using their own IaaS subscription, and then deploy to the testing and production environments in the Cloud. In addition, large enterprises normally set-up tight security policies that block the use of RDP which is used by Bizagi to develop in the Cloud.  

 

However, we are ready to host the development environment in the Cloud. Pricing available upon request.

 

Will Bizagi stop selling On Premise?

Our preferred method is Cloud first.

However, if Cloud is not a valid option for you, then you can buy our traditional Perpetual On-Premise licenses.  

Subscription (1-year) On-Premise License is no longer available.

 

Can I start my solution On Premise and then move to Bizagi Cloud?

We have seen many customers that say “I want Cloud”, but I am not ready for it. I will start On Premise and move to the Cloud in one or two years’ time. It is easy to move from On Premise to the Cloud because Bizagi On-premise uses a subset of the base code of Bizagi Cloud, and since we do not generate code, and everything is stored as meta-data in the DB, then it is mainly a backup/restore exercise. The exact procedure and the guidelines and restrictions of this compatibility are upon request.

 

Is support included in our Bizagi Cloud offering?

Yes, basic support is included in the subscription fee. This basic level does not include SLA's.

Support hours: 08:00 – 17:00 during business days (GMT for EMEA, PST for the USA, GMT-5 for Latam).

 

Are there premium support packages available in Bizagi Cloud?

Yes. There are also paid support packages for customers that are running mission critical applications on our platform and require SLA's. We are working on the definition of them. They will be ready soon.

 

Is Modeler Cloud (Collaboration Services) part of this offering?

No. The collaboration services for Modeler Cloud are sold separately and are not part of this offering. Those services are only for collaborative work around process definition/documentation.

 

On the other hand, Bizagi Cloud is only for automation, for building and running Bizagi applications.

In the future, we plan to consolidate these two offerings, but for the time being they will remain as independent offerings.

 

Can I stop Bizagi Cloud to avoid additional charges?

Yes. You can stop/deactivate any environment of your subscription at any time. At renewal time this inactive environment will not be part of the fee calculation for the new year.  In this event no monies will be credited nor reimbursed.

 

What happens with my bill when I scale up?

In Bizagi you Pay-for-what-you-use. You can scale up/down the performance level of any environment at any time to match demand. You can also activate additional environments (eg: staging/pre-production). If the you scale up, or add new environments, Bizagi will then invoice the yearly prorated fee. That is, Bizagi will only charge for the remaining number of days until the end of the subscription year. At renewal time, we will charge for an additional year the subscription fees applicable to the then active environments and using the then current performance levels of each environment.

 

How long until Bizagi Cloud reflects changes after a scale up?

Normally changes are reflected in minutes. But our commitment is that changes in the performance level will be available within 24 hours.

 

Is Bizagi Cloud a .NET or a JEE solution?

Neither. Bizagi Cloud is a Cloud solution with a service oriented architecture. applications in Studio should be developed aligned with this architecture, that is: Use Connectors not component libraries, Use widgets to extend UI, avoid the use of any .NET and JEE specific or proprietary framework sentences in Business expressions.

 

What is the maximum capacity of the service?

The capacity depends on your current Performance level. See Billing info.

 

What happens when I have a peak in the service?

When your server presents peaks in the service, you should consider to scale-up your performance Level in order to match demand
